Ghana Sanyo Company Ltd was incorporated in the mid 1960's to assemble and manufacture Electronic Equipments for the Ghanaian market. Sanyo has been one of the leading home appliance and electronic goods assembly plant in Ghana ..

Manufacturing and Assembling has included Air conditioners, Fans, TV's Radios, freezers, Refrigerators. They also operate a repair workshop.

In recent years assembly work has largely ceased and Ghana Sanyo has acted mainly as a distributor and official repairer of Sanyo Appliances.

The factory is located in the Tema heavy Industrial area, sited on plot number IND/A/22/2A and IND/A/22/2B covering an area of approximately 8.60 acres.

Its present Assets include valuable land and structures.
